What are the odds?

I’m sitting in Decatur, AL right now at my hotel. I had a show in Northport last night, one here in Decatur this morning, another one tomorrow morning then a program in Alabaster tomorrow night. It’s a pretty full weekend and has been a lot of fun so far. It’s always great to meet up with people you know from past ventures, and this weekend has me re-uniting with a couple people I haven’t seen in a few years.
For an update on my Fox News gig, I flew out to New York on Wednesday and was all set to do the program Thursday morning, when I got a call late Wednesday night that the show had been cancelled so they could (justifiably) focus on the bridge colapse in Minnesota. I couldn’t reschedule my flight so I ended up going over there and filming my spot after they had wrapped the show for the day. I don’t believe they aired it yesterday, but they should show it sometime in the next week or so. I’ll let you know as soon as I find something out. What are the odds that both dates I was scheduled to be on some major thing happened that pre-empted everything else? Strange indeed I say. Oh well, what can you do? I’ll just keep jumping and plugging along as always. I need to get some rest, 2 shows tomorrow then a 6 AM flight home on Monday. Fun times.
