I just finished performing at the annual sidewalk festival in Sioux Falls, SD. This was my first time in this amazing city and I had a great time. I drove up here after 2 shows in Southern Kansas (which is an 8.5 hour drive) and arrived at about midnight last night. I got up this morning and it was lightly raining as I walked over to the performance stage. It ended up lightly sprinkling through the first show and was a little cool outside. After doing a short teaching workshop with a number of people that were there the sun finally came out and it started warming up. The second show went a little smoother as the ground wasn’t soaking wet and I wasn’t afraid to go sliding off the stage if I landed wrong. All in all it was a fun day and I was really glad it worked into my schedule.
