After an exhausting drive back from South Dakota I’ll be spending this week and most of next in the Kansas City area. I had 3 shows yesterday and 2 today. One thing that makes this touring gig interesting is the fact that every school is so different. Between the architecture, layout, performance area, attitudes of the staff and the energy of the students, it’s almost impossible to find 2 schools that are even comparable. Today was neat because I had a 4/5th grade only school before heading into a middle school about an hour away. It’s rare to find a school exclusively for the 4/5th grade and I must be honest, they’re probably my favorite age group. Every age has it’s pluses and minuses, but there’s just something about that 4-6th grade level that is just plain fun. That’s all for now, I need to rest and try to recoup after another grueling day of jumping and driving.
