I will be jumping on FOX and Friends Thursday morning at 8:35 AM EST. The weather looks good so I shouldn’t have the same problem I had the last time I tried to fly out to New York. They were nice enough to cover my hotel this time around (which has turned out to be a 4-Star hotel right next to Central Park so I won’t be complaining). Make sure you tune in and send some positive messages to them afterward so they’ll be more inclined to get more jumpers on there in the future.North Carolina this past weekend was awesome. The people there wereRead More →

I’ve decided to be nice and post an extra videoKast this time around. Last week with the filming of the new Double Dutch video I was also able to film a few episodes for the podcast. I posted one on Thursday and posted a bonus one Monday. They both feature Kelsy Moe and teach some skills inside Chinese Wheel. The next episode will finally introduce Double Dutch to the videoKast and I know you’ll enjoy it.I’m off to North Carolina today for 3 shows tomorrow. I had an acquaintance visit this place a couple weeks ago and he told me that the people there areRead More →

It’s amazing how many things you have to take into consideration when you shoot a video. One thing that you sometimes forget is that you need pictures for the DVD cover. I almost forgot, but thankfully something prompted me to make sure I got some taken. I’ve posted a couple Double Dutch and one Chinese Wheel picture below. We shot about 250 total so these are just a very scant few of what I have to choose from when I eventually get to making the cover.I’ve also added a new product to the store. We are now offering Berry Best Double Dutch ropes. They’re greatRead More →

The Double Dutch video shoot is finally done! After 4 10-14 hour days of shooting we got everything shot and it’s ready for the editing process. Everyone left yesterday and Alicia and I spent today recuperating (well, I did, she got her wisdom teeth pulled this morning so she’s rather out of it). I’m really excited about the shoot and I can’t wait to start going through the footage to see how everything turned out. I’ll post some pictures we shot in the next day or two.As a quick update, FOX finally rescheduled the shoot for next week so I’ll be going to New YorkRead More →

We have just finished day 2 of filming for the Double Dutch/Chinese Wheel instructional video. Things were a little slow starting yesterday as we worked through some technical difficulties, but we rolled through Chinese Wheel today. We only have 4 wheel left to film then we can work on double dutch partner skills tomorrow. The room we’re working in gets quite hot through the day as we can only run the A/C when we’re not jumping. Yesterday it was hovering at 92 degrees where we were jumping, and that’s not to mention the bright lights we were under. Filming is a fun, but laborious job.Read More →

Last Friday I performed out in St. Louis and it was a lot of fun. It was the final night of a 3-day mini-camp and the kids were excited. High energy crowds are some of the most fun groups in the world to perform for as they almost channel that energy into my show. I’ve been using this new LED glow rope and I still have problems with it from time to time, Friday was one of those days. When it gets tangled up it takes forever to undo, I probably spent 30 seconds of the routine trying to get the things apart. Thankfully noneRead More →

What a fun week this was! I performed for about 1,100 people on Tuesday at a Spanish Youth for the Nations event. It was quite awesome to say the least. They were a very energetic group which made the program that much more fun for me. It’s so much easier to perform when the crowd is really into what you’re doing. Wednesday had me driving to Arkansas for a program at a community event in Bentonville (home of Wal-Mart). My wife and I didn’t make it to the visitor’s center, but maybe someday we’ll add that to our list of ‘been there, done that’.The roughRead More →

The new videoKast is up! Also, the filming for the new double dutch video is happening in 2.5 weeks. I’ve got a ton of work to do still before everyone gets here, but I’m looking forward to the many challenges that lay ahead. I’m speaking at a Spanish Youth event tomorrow in Dallas then at a community event in Arkansas on Wednesday. Should be a fun week!Read More →

If you got up early to watch FOX you probably noticed that I wasn’t on there today. The short version is that everything that could have gone wrong yesterday did, thus proving Murphy’s law. I found out Wednesday night that my flight had been cancelled due to weather in Texas. The earliest they could get me in was late tonight, that obviously wouldn’t work so I asked for alternatives. The agent wasn’t helpful at all so I finally came up with an option of flying out of St. Louis. There were 2 seats available so I changed my ticket and my wife and I droveRead More →

Peter will be on Fox and Friends (FOX News Channel) Friday morning at 7:40 AM EST (June 29th). There has been a major airline issue here in Tulsa so when he gets back he’ll fill you in on what happened and the amount of unnecessary effort expended to make it to the filming. Make sure you tune in!Read More →
