I am finally back in the states after a whirlwind trip to Suhag and Cairo Egypt. Alicia and I had a great time visiting some friends we made last time as well as meeting many new people (and of course putting on many jump rope shows and workshops). We started off on a bit of a sour note when our Delta flight had a broken radar and we were stuck sitting in the airport for many hours waiting on another plane to get us to Atlanta. When we finally landed at 2am in Atlanta, we had obviously missed our connection and were put on aRead More →

Jump rope shows everywhere! I have been so busy this year traveling around the country performing for Jump Rope for Heart events, school assemblies, Upward award nights and more! In fact, I have only set foot at home something like 4 days this year. I’m actually heading out the door again for another trip to Cairo, Egypt so I will have to make a more elaborate update at another time. I’m excited to spend another 10 days in the ancient world before bouncing back to the states. Anyway, I apologize for not updating things much lately, but when I have tons of shows, I don’tRead More →

I spent last week filming an updated version of my Single Rope Skills jump rope video! I have been wanting to do this for quite some time and I am so excited that it is finally filmed! I’ve put up more information about the project over at Jump Rope Secrets. I will be making the videos available over there as soon as they are edited. There will be no DVD of this project and it will only be available over at my streaming video website. I love this new way of doing things since I can put the videos up as they are completed insteadRead More →

What a month! I just got back from 3 weeks traveling around Egypt where I was able to perform for thousands of people and teach a 4-day workshop to a small team in Cairo. It was a trip that came out of nowhere and turned out to be one of the best trips we’ve taken in quite some time. We also got to experience more rain than anyone living could remember. The people, the food, the sights…everything was amazing and we can’t wait to go back! For a little background, I was contacted about performing for a festival back in October. I was very keenRead More →

It’s Halloween! As is quite typical for me this time of year, I am bouncing around the country performing my jump rope show in schools and at Fall Festival events. Today I had a school in Grand Rapids, MI that had some very excited kids. Tonight I will be performing at an event that is expected to have 3,000-5,000 people in attendance. It should be a ton of fun and lots of energy from those sugared up children! I performed at a school in Flint yesterday and had a show at a different Fall Festival in Hoover, AL 2 days ago (Wednesday night). Yeah, it’sRead More →

Yesterday I finally broke my 11th Guinness World Records Title! This one was for the most skips in one hour and I have to say, this one was tough. I attempted this record a couple weeks ago and missed it by 250 jumps so I had to give it another go. I contacted a team in the Dallas area (big thanks to HFS Jump Force for counting and witnessing) and they came out to be the official judges for the event. Everything was set and yet…not my best record setting experience. The week before I went to set the record, my back went out onRead More →

I am now a double digit Guinness World Records holder! That’s right, this past weekend I broke my 10th title (and broke one of my previous records again). This time I set the record for completing the most skips on stilts in one minute. It took me quite some time to find the perfect set of stilts where I could actually jump on them. Check out the video and read on for some more info about the record attempt. I had a show on Friday up in the Detroit area and decided to give Renee Nix a call (she is the coach of the Jumpin’Read More →

I’m currently performing and teaching over in Nigeria! It’s going great and I look forward to sharing some of the details when I get back in the States. I was invited to judge a video contest put on by a friend of mine. If you would like to take part, it’s a great opportunity to show off your jump rope moves! I’ve put all the details below, make sure you check it out and put together a video and submit it by Feb. 26th. You can win some free jump ropes for you or your school/team! Create a 45-60 second video that shows the worldRead More →

I need your VOTE! My Guinness World Records title for the fastest 100 meters jumping rope on one leg (what a mouthful) is in the finals for the Fan Choice of the Year. VOTE HERE. The winner is determined solely by how many votes they get and I need every vote possible if I want to stand a chance at winning. Last year a jump rope record (most jumps in one hour) won the event and it would be awesome if another jump rope record won again this year! Please vote and then pass it along to every one you know. Voting ends Jan. 13thRead More →
