Peter will be on the Fox News morning show a week from Friday (June 29, 2007) at 7:40 AM EST. Don’t miss it! Also, the second installment of the videoKast is now up, make sure to get signed up along with everyone you know. The first episode was re-uploaded today as well since I was finally able to get the proper audio file on there, now it sounds much better than before.Read More →

Last week I got a call from my former jump rope coach (and current rope maker) Bob Berry, the only thing, he was almost to Tulsa! Needless to say I was rather surprised, but it was great to see him for the short time he had to stop by. It’s always fun to see former coaches and relive old times (and as it turns out he was able to tell my wife some rather stupid actions I undertook as a kid that I had failed to mention to her). Chris Holmes over at jumpropevideos.com did a review on Revolve today. You can check it outRead More →

The biggest news items would be that the videoKast is up on iTunes! That’s right, you can find and subscribe to the Rope Masters podcast right through iTunes. Do a search for jump rope or rope skipping and it’ll be one of the only things that will come up. Pretty cool I thinks. I finally got my schedule for next year, after many hours of work yesterday it is now up for you to view. As you can see I’ll be all over the place this year. I’m trying to work out all the logistics of being gone that long so there’s plenty more workRead More →

The glow rope pictures are up in the multimedia section, make sure you check them out! My wife and I had a lot of fun taking the pictures and I’ll be doing some more sometime in the future just because I know that there can be better pictures than those. The videoKast is almost complete. It would be up right now, but I had a problem with the audio and I’m working my tail off trying to find a workable solution. The video itself looks amazing and I want to make sure the audio matches up.I got my new glow ropes in yesterday! I’ve decidedRead More →

The test shoot yesterday for the upcoming double dutch video went great! I was able to get a lot of footage to determine what will look best in the room and I got the first episode of the upcoming videocast shot. At the end of the day my wife and I decided to goof around with my glowsticks and we did some painting with light. I’ll be putting some of the better pictures up on the multimedia section, but it was really fun. Basically I was able to get some very cool glow rope pictures. The room we were in was perfect for it sinceRead More →

I think it’s about time to let this out, I’ll be hosting a brand new podcast on rope skipping! Because I’m not too keen on overused phrases it will be titled the Rope Masters VideoKast and the first episode will be out very soon. The goal of the videokast will be to provide a free resource on rope skipping where you can learn new skills taught by some of the best rope jumpers in the world. The initial episodes will be featuring myself (big surprise I’m sure), though as I begin traveling this year I’ll be hand picking some of the best jumpers to teachRead More →

With all the traveling I do and the amount of time that I will spend on the road this year, I have finally bit the bullet and I just ordered a GPS unit today. I know many of you will be wondering what has taken me so long to join the ranks of enlightenment, but I’m really wary when I’m about to spend a large sum of money on a device that I don’t necessarily need. I have always been blessed with an innate sense of direction, I don’t know why, but I can usually find where I’m supposed to be, however, due to someRead More →

If you’re signed up for the mailing list the new Trick of the Month went out today. If you haven’t signed up yet, you’re missing out. I’ll be doing a test shoot on Thursday at the location where we’ll be filming the upcoming DD video. It’s a really cool facility with a mirror black floor (you have to see it to appreciate how awesome it looks). I’ll upload some pictures I take while I’m there. I’ll be doing a bunch of shots trying to determine lighting and sound, it’ll be a busy day, but it should be fun! I’m really excited about filming this video,Read More →

I’m off to Duncan, OK tonight for my final show during the 2006-2007 school year. I’ve got plenty more during the summer and next year is going to be nuts! I’ve already got 280 confirmed schools between September and June of next year so it’s going to be a busy year for me. Tonight should be a blast as the end of school always brings out a new burst of excitement amongst students. I’ll let you know how it goes.Read More →
