I’ve got a high definition (HDV) camera that I will be filming with which should ensure the quality willRead More →

I finally did it! Just a moment ago I made a 360 Uni-Spin, which is where you jump off the unicycle and spin it around in a full circle before landing on the pedals again. I’ve been wanting to do it for quite some time and, to be honest, I’ve been capable of doing it for quite some time. The problem was that I lacked the commitment to do it. I’m actually quite chicken of doing new things that could potentially hurt me. Most people wouldn’t think that of me considering how much stuff I do that could cause injury, but I never do anythingRead More →

We just added Double Dutch Ropes to the store. Make sure to swing on by and pick up a set. We’re offering them for $10 for a 12 foot set so they’re a real steal. We’ve also added Paypal Express checkout to the store so you can get in and out faster if you’re a Paypal user. The final new improvement is that there are now real-time shipping quotes and rates available from the Post Office (this is in addition to the UPS quotes we’ve always offered). With the new rates in effect, as strange as they are, we decided it would be best toRead More →

Strapping on my shinguards, I decided to attempt something I’ve always wanted to do. Yesterday was my first attempt at rail riding on my unicycle. A few months ago I bought a used skate rail from the salvation army thinking it would be good to practice on, yet I haven’t had the time to do it. I finally took it out yesterday, set it up in my garage and held on to my jeep to see how it would go. Just to clarify, when I say rail riding I don’t mean grinding, I actually mean I’m trying to pedal while my tire is on theRead More →

Do you remember one of the primary lessons taught in physics? A body in motion tends to stay in motion. I’ve been secretly tackling a new idea for the past month and it looks like it might actually be ready to roll by June/July. I’m still not going to say what it is, but rest assured, you’ll like it. I only bring this up because it struck me just how much stuff will be done this summer. Every time I get going on one new project, I’m constantly amazed at how many more ideas spring into mind and then I have like 5 or 6Read More →

I wanted to fill you in on what’s going on with the new instructional video. The plan is to put together the definitive video on Double Dutch, Chinese Wheel and possibly long ropes. Since I’ll be flying in a few of the best jumpers from around the country I want to film as much stuff as possible while we’re together. Because I want you to benefit the most from having all these amazing jumpers together, each person will be responsible for teaching different segments that they excel in. I haven’t decided exactly how the splits will be or anything, but I’ll be getting to allRead More →

Today was crazy! I woke up at 4:30 in the morning to a massive lighting storm and a torrential downpour. I really enjoy the rain so it made for some nice sleeping. I’ve got a show in Stillwater, OK on Wednesday and that’s actually all I have this week. I’ve got plenty to do around the house so I shouldn’t be hurting for stuff to do.Read More →

After spending most of the night talking with Dennis, I finally made it to bed at 12:30 then got up at 5:30 in order to make it to my show on time. I performed at this really neat school in The Woodlands. The kids were really into the program and I had a blast performing for them. One of the nice parts about my job is that somedays my day is over at 10:30 in the morning. Unfortunately for me, my flight didn’t leave until 7PM and I had absolutely nothing to do. Dennis had to fly out to Tampa for a program and IRead More →

I’m sitting in the house of the world’s strongest man and it just hit me how funny that sounds. I mean, how many careers are out there where you honestly can plan on meeting a bunch of oddballs (in a positive sort of way). I met Dennis Rogers at a program we did together in Tulsa almost 8 years ago. Since then we’ve done so many different video projects, trips and just plain goofing off it’s hard to think of a time before I knew him. He’s been a great friend and has given me so much wonderful business advice I don’t know where I’dRead More →

Any time you update a website (much less rebuild it) there are plenty of bugs that need ironing out. I finally fixed a display bug that Internet Explorer was having on the news page (yeah!). I’ve also changed the way the news and rss pages are created so they’re more dynamic and can be much more easily updated. The pictures have disappeared for the moment, but should be back up in the next day or so.I’m headed to Houston tomorrow to perform at a school on Friday. As a heads up, I’m working on getting all my ducks in a row to film the newRead More →
